Much of our work is in green oak, and one of its great advantages is its durability. There is no need to treat oak, even if it is fully exposed, so there is never any need to re-treat it either! That’s a chore that many of us could do without.
Instead, exposed oak will weather back to a silvery grey colour and stay like that for generations. That makes it the ideal material for use on a number of outdoor structures.
